Gloucester Docks

View by our mooring in the Docks
We had a good trip down the River Severn despite it being Friday 13th.  Arriving in time to have a look around the shops at The Quays mall. Whilst there we met Janet and Paul, friends from Plymouth, visiting Gloucester to meet up with their friend Ann and Pete. So we all piled back on board for a cuppa.

On Saturday we met up with Jane and Kelly, friends who are staying nearby in their motor home.
We had arranged this, so not a surprise. Their friend Malcolm was with them. So we spent some time together over the weekend. We cruised on to the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal on Sunday as far as Shepherd's Patch to meet up with them again. Yesterday, with all 5 of us on board we cruised to Sharpness, where we are still. The Canal is very wide and deep as it can take sea going vessels, though not very many these days.

On Friday we will be heading briefly to Plymouth to go to Sheree and Alec's birthday celebrations on Saturday. Then on Monday I am having a wisdom tooth out. Not so much fun!
So bye for now!
