To Worcester and on to the River Severn

We took about 3 days to get to Worcester mooring by a park just next to this milestone. It was a short walk into the centre of the city and we spent Wednesday exploring. We went in the lovely Cathedral and also to look at the Severn.

First or last milestone,
depends which way you are going!

Worcester Cathedral
Yesterday we traveled 4 more locks on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. The last 2 are double locks and we were luck enough to have a boat to share with. Just as well as the last gates were very heavy and we needed the help of a muscular gongoozler! Then out on to the River and on to Upton-on-Severn where we spent the night.
Setting off this morning, our next lock now will take us into Gloucester Docks, from there we will be back on Canal.
Coming out of Diglis Lock, our first on the River Severn
